چکیده
Bone grafting has increasingly been used in surgical procedures for enhanced bone augmentation. Tooth-derived graft material received considerable attention due to its chemical composition and autogenous source that can improve tissue healing. The main aim of this study was provide a short comprehensive review on the composition, morphological aspects, clinical outcomes using tooth-derived matrix granules. Dentin similar tissues regarding presence hydroxyapatite, type I collagen, different growth factors. Dentin-matrix granules are often processed at well-controlled size ranging from approximately 300 up 1300 µm, while maintaining porosity organic content. In addition, dense collagen fiber network is still present after milling treatment dentin Thus, dentin-matrix healing process considering their porous structure, adequate size. However, further vivo vitro studies should be performed taking into consideration demineralization procedures, remnant content, porosity, granule

Aneurysmal bone cyst--clinical and morphological aspects.
AIM To assess the results of surgical treatment in aneurysmal bone cysts. MATERIALS AND METHODS 31 patients with aneurysmal bone cysts underwent surgical treatment in our department. In almost half of cases, the lesion was located in the femur. In 12 cases, a pathological bone fracture was the first clinical sign. The treatment consisted in curettage, abrasion of the cavity inner walls using ...
متن کاملTooth-derived bone graft material
With successful extraction of growth factors and bone morphogenic proteins (BMPs) from mammalian teeth, many researchers have supported development of a bone substitute using tooth-derived substances. Some studies have also expanded the potential use of teeth as a carrier for growth factors and stem cells. A broad overview of the published findings with regard to tooth-derived regenerative tiss...
متن کاملGrowth plate extracellular matrix-derived scaffolds for large bone defect healing.
Limitations associated with demineralised bone matrix and other grafting materials have motivated the development of alternative strategies to enhance the repair of large bone defects. The growth plate (GP) of developing limbs contain a plethora of growth factors and matrix cues which contribute to long bone growth, suggesting that biomaterials derived from its extracellular matrix (ECM) may be...
